Our session will present an overview of the three-year pilot "NYA Next," which built a 10-month experiential education program offered to 50 youth from Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. Next provides an intensive experience where youth can explore a broad range of career interests while building skills and experience. We'll focus on best practices and lessons learned.

Rebecca Bisson has spent 20 years working with youth, and in program development and organizational management. She finds NYA the perfect environment to play a meaningful role in a organization with big plans and huge heart.
Karen Aglukark is originally from Arviat, NU, but lives in Ottawa. She participated in NYA in 2007 and 2008 and went on to work and volunteer for NYA, serving as Board Chair for four years.
