Is leadership only positional? Do we need titles to become leaders? What about intrinsic leadership qualities and roles we embody in work/life? Career development provides gateways for millennials to level up into leadership. Learn how, through managing their own careers and adopting HEROIC mindsets at University of Toronto's Troost ILead and beyond, millennials lead themselves, others, organizations and society.

Learning Outcomes:
  • Review formal and informal career approaches to facilitate millennial leadership;
  • Learn diverse approaches from a program co-ordinator, university instructor and career coach;
  • Adopt strategies from Troost ILead programming and OneLifeTools narrative framework

  • Étudier des approches formelles et informelles en matière de carrière pour faciliter le leadership des membres de la génération Y;
  • Apprendre diverses approches enseignées par une coordonnatrice de programmes, un enseignant à l’université et une accompagnatrice en gestion et transition de carrière;
